The island region of the southwest, with the pearl island of Phu Quoc, the Nam Du archipelago and pristine beaches.

Kien Giang is the province with the most abundant seas and islands in the southwestern Mekong region. The standout is Phu Quoc Island — Vietnam's largest island, with gorgeous beaches, primeval forest and famous fish sauce. There is also the pristine Nam Du archipelago and poetic Ha Tien with its 'Ten Scenes of Ha Tien'. This land brings together the beauty of sea and sky with the unique blended culture of the Kinh, Khmer and Hoa peoples.

Best time to visit: November–April, dry season with beautiful seas
