Lang Son is a northeastern border province with charming scenery and deep history. The land of Lang is famous for Tam Thanh Cave, the To Thi statue, the Mac dynasty citadel and the cloud-shrouded Mau Son Peak, which sees ice and frost in winter. The bustling Tan Thanh and Dong Kinh border markets draw shoppers. The Tay, Nung and Dao cultures, with their sli and luon folk songs, give the land of Lang its own special charm.
