A sacred limestone cave in the heart of Lang Son city, famous for its ancient cave temple and as the 'finest of the eight scenic wonders of Lang'.
Set in a limestone range right in the heart of Lang Son city, Tam Thanh Cave has long been hailed as the 'finest of the eight scenic wonders of Lang'. Stepping through the stone gate, visitors enter a sacred space with the Tam Thanh Temple carved straight into the cave wall in the Le dynasty. Inside, a relief of Amitabha Buddha is etched into the rock, the Am Ti Pond stays crystal-clear year-round, and ethereal stalactites hang down. Through a crevice, visitors gaze at the 'gate of heaven' that lets in natural light. The temple bell echoing through the cave brings a sense of stillness and sanctity in the heart of this frontier city.
