Ben Tre is dubbed the coconut land, where endless green coconut groves stretch across three large islets among the branches of the Tien River. The coconut tree is closely bound to people's lives, from coconut water and coconut candy to exquisite handicrafts made from the trunk, leaves and fiber. Visitors come to Ben Tre to ride boats through water-coconut canals, visit fragrant coconut-candy workshops and feel the rustic, warm-hearted soul of the land of three islets — Bao, Minh and An Hoa.
