Vinh Phuc is a transitional land between the delta and the northern mountains, standing out for the resort town of Tam Dao drifting among the clouds. Cool year-round, Tam Dao has become an ideal escape from the heat and one of the most romantic check-in spots in the North. At the foot of the mountain lies the Tay Thien scenic area, with the Truc Lam Zen monastery and the millennium-old worship of the National Mother. Vinh Phuc also boasts the specialty of Tam Dao chayote, sugarcane-syrup dumpling cakes, and delicious hill chicken dishes that keep travelers lingering.
