Son La is a vast northwestern plateau, most famous for the Moc Chau plateau — a boundless green grassland with tea hills, plum forests and vibrant flower seasons all year round. Its cool climate, poetic scenery and the cultures of the Thai and Hmong create a special appeal. It is also a land of peaceful villages and unique mountain-forest specialties.
