A sacred relic site honouring the Hung Kings on Nghia Linh Mountain, the cradle of the nation and home of the Hung Kings' Commemoration.

Set on Nghia Linh Mountain, the Hung Kings Temple is the sacred cradle of the Vietnamese people, honouring the Hung Kings who founded the nation. From the foot of the mountain, visitors climb hundreds of stone steps shaded by ancient trees, paying respects in turn at the Lower, Middle and Upper Temples before reaching the Hung Kings' Tomb. Each moss-covered ancient temple is a milestone in the legend of nation-building. On the 10th day of the third lunar month, millions of Vietnamese make a pilgrimage here for the Commemoration, offering incense to their ancestors. The folk verse 'Wherever you go, remember the Ancestors' Day, the tenth of the third month' echoes through the ages.
