Kenh Ga

A floating village on the Hoang Long river with fifty-degree mineral water rising from the ground.

Kenh Ga is a village on a narrow strip of land in the middle of the Hoang Long river, and for many years it was almost cut off: people got about mainly by boat, houses faced the water, children could row before they could ride a bicycle. What put the place on the map is a mineral spring that rises naturally from the ground at about fifty degrees, rich in minerals and used for bathing. From the Kenh Ga landing there are also boats to Van Trinh cave — a large cave inside the mountain with tiered stalactites and far fewer visitors than the caves at Trang An and Tam Coc.
