Korea's tallest building, with a glass floor almost half a kilometre up looking straight down onto Jamsil.

Lotte World Tower stands 555 metres and tapers as it rises, a shape drawn from Korean writing brushes and ceramics. The double-decker lift to the Seoul Sky observatory takes under a minute, and on floor 118 there is a stretch of clear glass floor — stand on it and the traffic in Jamsil is the size of grain. On a clear day the view reaches Bukhansan in the north and the Gwanaksan ridge in the south. At the foot of the tower is Seokchon Lake, ringed with cherry blossom in early April, and the largest indoor amusement park in the world.
