Two peaks shaped like horse's ears, with more than 80 stone pagodas stacked by hand below them.

Maisan has two rock peaks standing side by side which, from a distance, look exactly like a pair of horse's ears rising from the forest. Below them, a hermit named Yi Gap-yong spent the last thirty years of his life stacking more than eighty stone pagodas — no mortar, no frame, only stone on stone — and they have stood through a century of storms. No one has fully explained why they don't fall. In spring, cherry blossom covers the road to Tapsa temple.
