A Provençal village built on a Korean hillside, made in memory of The Little Prince.
The founder of Petite France loved The Little Prince enough to license the imagery and build an entire French village on a hillside above Cheongpyeong lake: orange-tiled roofs, blue shutters, a small square with a fountain, and a little museum about Saint-Exupéry alongside a collection of antique music boxes played to a timetable. It is entirely staged and makes no secret of it — yet on an autumn afternoon, standing in the square looking down at the lake, it carries its own conviction. Many Korean films and shows were filmed here, so Asian visitors come in numbers.
