A gorge of vertical rock with three waterfalls — the smallest national park in Korea, and the most dramatic.

Juwangsan is not high, but its rock stands in sheer walls on either side of a narrow cleft, and the main trail runs straight through it. About an hour in you reach three waterfalls in succession, each dropping into a green rock pool. Legend tells of a Chinese prince named Juwang who hid in a cave here, and the mountain took his name. In autumn the gorge burns red; in early summer the falls run strongest.
