A remarkable stream where thousands of sacred fish gather at the foot of a limestone mountain, tied to the beliefs of the Muong people.
Tucked at the foot of Truong Sinh Mountain in Cam Thuy District, the Cam Luong Sacred Fish Stream astonishes visitors with thousands of large fish swimming in dense schools through its crystal-clear water. The local Muong people believe the fish are guardian spirits that keep the village at peace, so no one dares to catch them. The fish here have round bodies and pink fins, some weighing several kilograms, living serenely across generations. Along the cool stream are also fascinating caves and rustic stilt houses, forming a harmonious picture of nature and culture, strangely peaceful.
