Sen Village and Hoang Tru Village — where President Ho Chi Minh was born and raised, a sacred pilgrimage site for millions of hearts.

Returning to Kim Lien in Nam Dan District, we step back into the childhood of beloved Uncle Ho. In a humble thatched house in Hoang Tru Village, the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung gave his first cry; in Sen Village, a simple leaf-roofed home bears the marks of the years he lived with his father. The loom, the jute hammock and the plain wooden plank bed remain, recalling the frugal life of a patriotic Confucian family. Each year, millions of Vietnamese return here, standing quietly beside Coc Well, the banyan tree and the old house, to remember and honor the nation's great leader.
