An endless green cajuput forest in the Plain of Reeds, with a path through the trees and an observation tower over the wetlands.
Set in the heart of the Plain of Reeds, Tan Lap Floating Village is a cajuput forest eco-zone spanning more than 600 hectares. Visitors walk along a concrete path nearly five kilometers long, winding between two rows of cool green cajuput trees, with sunlight filtering through the canopy to create a magical scene. A small boat threads through duckweed-covered canals, birdsong mingling with the faint scent of cajuput. From the top of the nearly thirty-meter observation tower, the vast wetland spreads out like a green carpet stretching to the horizon. This is an ideal place to feel the unhurried pace of the Mekong's waterland.
