Silver Waterfall

A fall of over two hundred metres right beside the road up to O Quy Ho pass.

Silver Waterfall drops more than two hundred metres to land right beside highway 4D on the road from Sa Pa up to O Quy Ho pass, which makes it an almost obligatory stop on any trip over the pass. Water off the Hoang Lien Son range comes down over stepped rock and breaks white — which is where the name comes from. A concrete stairway climbs the slope to near the top of the falls, about fifteen minutes. Know in advance: in the dry season from December to March the flow drops sharply and the fall becomes a thin thread, so do not expect much if you come then.
