Sa Pa greets you with a thin veil of mist and a pleasant chill. In the morning, clouds drift through valleys of golden terraced fields. Hmong women carry vegetables down to market, rosy-cheeked children laugh brightly. When sunset bathes the Hoang Lien Son range in purple, Sa Pa becomes achingly peaceful.
