A multi-tier fall in pine forest beside Prenn pass, reached by alpine coaster or on foot.
Datanla hides in pine forest right beside Prenn pass, close enough that many people stop on the way into Da Lat. Its name comes from the K'Ho 'Da Tam N'ha' — water under leaves — because the stream runs hidden beneath the canopy. The falls drop through several rock tiers into a narrow gorge; the deepest stretch is called Tiger Cave, where the walls close in and the water turns in a pool. The famous way down is the alpine coaster, over a kilometre along the slope, but anyone wanting quiet can take the stepped path through the pines instead — cooler and far emptier.
