Twin peaks on the Lam Vien plateau, named for the lovers of a Lach legend.
The Lach tell of K'Lang and H'Biang, from two hostile tribes, who loved each other and died together; the two parallel peaks on the Lam Vien plateau carry their names, and the plateau later took the name Lang Biang as well. Radar peak, at 1,929m, has a jeep track to the top, and from there the whole Da Lat valley and the Lach village of Lat lie below. Walkers can take the Bidoup route or the trail through three-needle pine forest, three to four hours. Early in the morning cloud fills the valley and only the two peaks break the surface, like islands.
