A tall pink cathedral with a rooster on its spire — also known as the Rooster Church.
Like Da Nang, Da Lat has a Rooster Church, and for the same reason: an alloy rooster stands on a bell tower nearly forty-seven metres tall, turning with the wind. The cathedral was built in the 1930s in Romanesque style with pink-washed walls, and the best thing about it is some seventy panels of stained glass made by a French workshop, which flood the nave with colour when the sun comes through. Its position on a high slope means the bell tower is visible from many points in town, including from across Xuan Huong lake.
