Da Lat's largest lake among pine forest, its water broken into dozens of inlets.
Tuyen Lam is about five kilometres south of the centre, and it differs from Xuan Huong in being large and wild: the water works its way between pine hills into dozens of winding inlets, many reachable only by boat. It is usually paired with Truc Lam monastery on the hill to the north — the standard route is the cable car from Robin hill down to the monastery, then the steps down to the boat landing. Walking trails through the pines run around the lake, and early in the morning mist covers the water until nearly noon.
