A night market near the beach — grilled seafood and souvenirs until late.

The night market sets up near the shore south of the centre, and its rhythm follows the resort crowd: open from dusk, fullest around nine or ten, when people have swum, eaten and come out to walk. Half of it is food — grilled seafood, snails, grilled rice paper, sweet soup — and the other half souvenirs, t-shirts, shell and pearl craft. Nothing here is remarkable compared with night markets in other beach cities, but it does its job: somewhere to walk after dinner without having to plan anything.
