A riverside park at the foot of the walking street, facing Landmark 81 and Thu Thiem.
Bach Dang is where Nguyen Hue boulevard meets the Saigon river. After redevelopment the whole bank became a walking park with steps down to the water's edge, and it immediately became where the city goes to catch the breeze in the evening. Across the river is the Thu Thiem peninsula with its new towers, and off to the right Landmark 81 stands alone, far above everything else. The wharf is also where the river buses and dinner boats dock, so if you want to see the city from the water this is the departure point.
