An island in the middle of An Duong Lake is a paradise for tens of thousands of storks and night herons, a unique ecological spot of the delta.
In the heart of the blue-green An Duong Lake, Chi Lang Nam Stork Island appears like an oasis of nature, a refuge for tens of thousands of storks, night herons, egrets, and teals. Formed by dyke breaches and floods centuries ago, two islets gradually rose to become a home for the birds of the sky. Dawn and dusk are the most magical moments, when flocks of white storks fill the sky on their way back to their nests, painting a vivid picture of nature. Visitors glide gently around the island on bamboo boats, listening to the chatter of birds and breathing in the rare fresh air of the Northern delta.
