A temple to Tran Hung Dao built on the granary he used during the second war against the Mongols.

Tran Thuong was not sited at random: it stands on the exact ground where Tran Hung Dao placed the granary that fed his army in the second war against the Mongols. 'Thuong' means store. The temple faces open fields, its timber architecture low and solid, its yard laid with old brick, and around it remain mounds that once held grain. On the full-moon night of the first lunar month, the Grain Distribution rite runs until dawn: symbolic bags of grain are given to those who come to ask, re-enacting an army supply ritual seven centuries old.
