Tam Chuc Pagoda is hailed as the largest pagoda in the world, sprawling across a region of majestic mountains and water in southern Ha Nam. The complex backs onto That Tinh (Seven Stars) Mountain and faces Luc Nhac Lake, where six rocky islands rise like six heavenly bells. The spiritual axis runs from the Tam Quan gate through the Sutra Pillar Garden, the Quan Am Hall, the Phap Chu Hall, and on to the magnificent Tam The Hall, where three bronze Buddha statues weighing hundreds of tons are enshrined. Legend ties this land to the mystical tale of 'Six Bells in Front, Seven Stars Behind.' On a pilgrimage to Tam Chuc, the heart settles amid the grand natural scenery and the serene spiritual space.
