T'Nung Sea Lake is an emerald jewel on the Pleiku plateau, a large freshwater lake formed from a crater that has slumbered for millions of years. People call it the 'eyes of Pleiku' for its deep blue, clear surface reflecting the sky and the pines whispering in the wind. The road to the lake is shaded by ancient pines, leading to a viewing pavilion that juts over the water, where visitors take in the vast, still expanse. At dawn, thin mist drapes the lake's surface, birds chirp in flocks, and the scene is as beautiful as an ink-wash painting. The lake is tied to the tragic legends of the Jarai people, adding to the mystery and poetry of this celebrated landmark of the mountain town.
