Soft, fragrant coconut candy cooked from the rich coconut milk of the coconut land, wrapped in edible rice paper that melts on the tongue.
Ben Tre, the land of coconuts, has made this candy famous since the early 20th century in Mo Cay. Coconut milk is slow-cooked with malt syrup over a wood fire, then cut into pieces wrapped in edible rice paper. On the ferry across the Tien River, everyone carries home a few boxes as gifts.
Flavour: Rich coconut, sweet and chewy
