Roasted peanuts drowned in cane molasses, pressed between two sesame rice crackers โ a sweet, nutty treat that lingers with every traveller through Ha Tinh.
Legend tells of an old man nicknamed 'Cu Hai' who boiled cane molasses with peanuts to treat his guests, and the candy took the name 'cu do'. Each piece is chewy with molasses, nutty with peanuts and crisp with cracker โ best enjoyed alongside a bowl of stewed green tea.
