Turmeric-marinated catfish grilled then sizzled with dill in a hot pan right at your table — a celebrated Old Quarter specialty.

Born over a century ago on Cha Ca Street, the dish is tied to the Doan family. The fish glows golden with turmeric amid vivid dill and green onion, served with rice noodles, roasted peanuts and fermented shrimp paste.
