A century-old flower village ablaze with color, one of the largest flower and ornamental-plant hubs in the Mekong Delta.

Sa Dec Flower Village, also called Tan Quy Dong flower village, is one of the oldest and largest flower and ornamental-plant hubs in the Mekong Delta, with over a hundred years of history. Stretching along the Sa Giang River, hundreds of hectares of flower gardens bloom year-round with chrysanthemums, roses, marigolds, lisianthus and countless prized ornamentals. What makes it unique is that growers raise the flowers on high racks to avoid flooding, creating a distinctive scene of blossoms suspended above the water. As Tet approaches, the whole village bustles, and boats carry flowers across the south. Strolling through this sea of color, visitors feel as if they've wandered into a dazzling, fragrant fairy-tale garden.
