A riverside market where visitors buy dried goods to take home, and haggling is simply expected.

Han Market sits at the western foot of the Dragon Bridge, right on the river, which makes it the first market most visitors walk into. The ground floor is stacked with candied squid, dried shrimp, filefish, sesame crackers and Quang-style beef sausage — the things almost everyone carries out of Da Nang by the bagful. The second floor is fabric and tailoring; order an ao dai in the morning and collect it in the afternoon. It is smaller and tidier than Con Market, and asks higher opening prices — but it sits directly on the riverside walk, so it costs you no detour.
