The egg-stone beach and poet's hill on the Quy Nhon shore, where Han Mac Tu is buried.

Ghenh Rang is where the hills run into the sea at the southern edge of Quy Nhon, and where the surf has ground countless stones into egg shapes piled along a whole beach — locals simply call it Egg Stone Beach, and it was once Emperor Bao Dai's private bathing spot. A winding road climbs to the grave of Han Mac Tu, the poet who died at twenty-eight of leprosy, his tomb facing the sea exactly as in the lines he wrote about moonlight and waves. From the top the whole of Quy Nhon bay curves like a crescent, and late in the day the city lights come on across the water.
