Noodles in black chunjang sauce with pork and onion โ a Chinese dish born in Incheon's Chinatown.
In the late 19th century, Shandong merchants at Incheon port mixed black bean paste with onion, pork and Korean noodles to feed dock workers. The dish spread nationwide and became the thing Koreans order for delivery more than anything else. On 14 April โ 'Black Day' โ single people gather to eat it together.
