Fish cake on skewers dipped in hot broth — a winter snack nationwide, originally from Busan.

Busan is Korea's largest fishing port, so its fish cake carries more fish and less flour, springier and sweeter than elsewhere. At markets and street stalls the skewers sit in a pot of hot radish broth; when you finish, you pour yourself a cup of the broth to warm up. Busan's fish cake brands are now sold across the country.

Flavour: Sweet with fish, lightly salty
