🍵 Boseong green tea

Tea from Korea's largest plantation — brewed hot, churned into ice cream, even mixed into rice.

Boseong produces most of Korea's tea, and the whole town lives around the leaf: tea brewed traditionally in small pots, green tea ice cream at the plantation gate, green tea noodles, even pork raised on tea residue. Leaves picked in early May (ujeon) are the most prized, sweet in the finish with little astringency.

Flavour: Lightly astringent with a sweet finish
