The mountain on the city's southern edge, with a cable car to a viewpoint over all of Daegu.
Apsan simply means 'the mountain in front' — the one every Daegu resident sees from their window. The cable car lifts you close to the summit in seven minutes, and from the observation deck the entire Daegu basin appears, ringed by mountains. The park also holds the Nakdonggang Victory War Memorial, remembering the last defensive line of 1950, along with plenty of short trails that suit an afternoon.
